Christmas Baking Supplies: Cupcake Boxes, Cookie Bags & Icing Decorations for the Perfect Presentation
You're a whirlwind of activity in the kitchen. You've been digging up old recipes for holiday treats, googling madly for new Christmas goodies to bake, mentally cataloging the dietary restrictions of each recipient on your list: gluten-free... low carb... vegan... eats everything...
But in your rush to prepare the perfect holiday treats, you missed the fact that your cupboards are bare. That's right, Mother Hubbard, you neglected the shopping. You're woefully short of baking supplies, that is, flour, sugar, butter, and other essentials.
So, you do what everyone does. You grab your car keys and race to the nearest Party City for your holiday baking needs. Party City offers all things for the holidays, doesn't it? Let's hope you get there before closing time.
Sadly, as much as we at Party City would like to help, we can't. Not this time, because we're a party store and not a purveyor of groceries. We don't stock pastry flour, confectioner's sugar, and refrigerated toppings. We might keep a box or two of cake mix on the shelf, but that's as far as it goes. Maybe we should have been clearer when we named this category. For us, baking supplies have less to do with what you put in the cake than what you put on it.
Below is a partial list of the baking supplies we do provide. In the meantime, please email your suggestion for a better category name than "Christmas Baking Supplies." Sorry, we're not allowed to post our email address online.
Boxes, Bags & Supplies for Your Holiday Cookies, Cupcakes & Cakes
Christmas baking cups: Even if they're just plain old bran muffins, snowflake and holly print cups give them a fresh holiday spin.
Christmas favor & treat bags: For cookies and candy, treat bags are your best option. They can be purchased individually or in counts of 20. Paper bags come with jolly holiday print; clear plastic bags seal in freshness.
Christmas baking boxes & carriers: A step up from favor bags, Christmas boxes and carriers offer first class service for your treats. They're ideal for larger batches of cookies, cupcakes, and slices of cake. Cardboard construction helps prevent damage to contents.
Cardstock trays & plastic bags: Stack your Christmas cookies, candies, and other homemade foods on the cardboard tray; a clear cello bag covers the entire tray for protection.
Christmas cupcake toppers: Candy cane icing decorations and snowman cupcake picks drive home the point that these are Christmas treats you're sharing, and not luau or Halloween.
Cupcake sprinkles & decorations: Christmas sprinkles? Incredibly enough, there is such a thing in minty flavors and wintry hues.
Christmas cookie cutter sets: Stamp your cookies into fun holiday icons like gingerbread men, Christmas stockings, candy canes, and Christmas trees. Each cookie cutter set gives you several options in terms of size and shape.
