What is Party City's Return Policy?
  • We gladly accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase of items accompanied with a store receipt or a copy of your order confirmation email. All returns will be credited to the original form of payment. Most products, including Online Only products, will be refunded the full purchase price. All merchandise must be in a new condition, unopened, unworn, and in original packaging.

    For your convenience, you may return your online purchase to any of our Party City store locations. Please click here or call 1-800-477-4841 to find a store location near you for assistance with your return.

    Note that seasonal merchandise (e.g. Christmas, Easter, and Halloween Items, including costumes) may be returned up to 7 days prior to the holiday, unopened with receipt only. After that, only exchanges will be made. You may return your online Halloween order within 30 days from the date you received your purchase.

    Non-Returnable Items include:

    • All custom & personalized items (US only)
    • Helium Tanks
    • Partial Party Kits – Party Kits may only be returned complete, including all components originally specified within each kit. Party Kit components cannot be returned individually.

    Online Order Specific Information:

    • Returns without a copy of your order confirmation email: We are unable to process returns without visibility to your order. If you do not have a copy of your order confirmation email, please enclose written documentation of your order number with your return. Or you can request a new copy by contacting us.
    • Shipping and Handling charges and Shipping and Handling taxes are non-refundable.
    • Merchandise credit is only redeemable in stores and not online.
What is Party City's Halloween Return Policy?
  • You may return your Halloween online orders within 30 days from the date you received your purchase. No returns will be accepted for store or online orders however after October 24th, 2019. Exchanges will still be accepted as long as the item is unopened, unworn, in original packaging and is accompanied with a copy of the Order Confirmation Email or Store Receipt.

How do I return online with PartyCity.com?
    • All online order return can be processed in Party City retail stores. Find the Party City Store nearest you or call 1-800-477-4841 for assistance with your return.
    • For shipping returns, please enclose a copy of your order confirmation email. This email will include your order number with barcode along with your return so we may promptly process a credit to your account. If you do not have a copy of your order confirmation email, please enclose written documentation of your order number with your return. Or you can request a new copy by contacting us.
