Friendly Candy Dipped Ghost Cookies How To

Thrill the kiddies with these ghostly goodies!

Kids will be thrilled when these ghosts are haunting their house this Halloween. Their favorite peanut butter sandwich cookies are dipped in melted white Candy Melts® candy, with fun candy details. We displayed them on purple jelly beans and a spooky black tray.

How-To

Ingredients:

  • White Candy Melts® Candy (12 oz. makes 12 treats)
  • Favorite peanut-shaped peanut butter sandwich cookies
  • Black Candy Melts Candy (3 oz. makes 12 treats)
  • Candy Eyeballs

Supplies:

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Fork
  • Waxed or parchment paper
  • Cookie sheet
  • 12 in. Disposable Decorating Bags
  • Food-safe scissors
  • Knife

1) Dip cookies

Melt white Candy Melts candy in microwave-safe bowl according to package directions. Use fork to dip cookies in melted white candy. Tap to smooth and remove excess candy. Place on waxed paper-covered cookie sheet. Chill until firm, about 10 to 15 minutes.

2) Make mouths

Melt black Candy Melts candy in disposable decorating bag according to package directions. Use scissors to cut small point off of disposable decorating bag. Use melted black candy to decorate oval mouths. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.

3) Attach eyes

Use melted black candy to attach candy eyeballs. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.
