A stack o' spooky sweet cupcakes!

It's spooky how fast you can put together a kids' Halloween party, complete with decorated cupcakes! Just add a simple icing swirl to your baked cupcakes, then add candy accents and place on a colorful treat stand.

How-To

Ingredients:

  • Favorite cupcake recipe or mix
  • Ready-to-Use Decorator Icing
  • Golden Yellow Icing Color
  • Lemon Yellow Icing Color
  • Orange and yellow white Sixlets®
  • Ghost Candy Corn Icing Decorations
  • *Combine Golden Yellow with Lemon Yellow for yellow shown.

Supplies:

  • Favorite Halloween baking cups
  • Standard muffin pan
  • Cooling grid
  • Food-safe scissors
  • 12 in. disposable decorating bags
  • Decorating tip #2A
  • Favorite Halloween treat stand

1) Make cupcakes

Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool cupcakes.

2) Decorate cupcakes

Tint buttercream icing yellow. Insert tip 2A into disposable decorating bag. Fill disposable decorating bag with yellow buttercream icing. Pipe swirl on top of cupcakes.

3) Assemble treats

Position yellow, orange and white round candies around edge of cupcakes. Insert ghost with candy corn icing decoration in center of cupcake. Position cupcakes on assembled stand.
