Parties aren't limited to the home. That's why we are pleased to offer discounts to all schools and non-profit organizations at our store locations.
To get started:
Provide us with a letter, signed by an officer of your school or organization on official letterhead.
All purchases must be paid by check or credit card in the name of the company or organization.
That's all there is to it.
Tax Exempt Organizations
If your order is being purchased on behalf of an organization that is exempt from paying sales tax, please return to the “My Account” page and click on the “Tax Exemption” link. Follow the prompts to fill in the required information and upload your documentation. Please allow 2-3 business days for your certificate to be processed. Once approved, taxes will automatically be removed from future online orders.
If you need to place your order immediately please proceed to checkout. Applicable sales taxes will be collected on your order. After your order has been placed please follow the prompts under “Tax Exemption” located in “My Account” to submit your tax exempt documentation. When you receive your Shipment Confirmation please send an email including your order number to firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a refund for the taxes charged.
Please note: all emails must include the Order Number in the subject line of your message. If no Order Number is provided, we will not be able to process your tax refund.
After your account has been processed as tax exempt you will now be able to shop online and at most Party City stores without having to provide your tax exempt documentation with each visit. When shopping at a store location, please present the barcode located under “Tax Exemption” in your partycity.com “My Account” to the cashier upon checkout.
Depending on specific state laws, we may contact you in the future for updated tax exemption support.
Organizational Discounts cannot be applied to online purchases at this time.
