1) Make crispy rice cereal treats

Prepare crispy rice cereal treats mixture following recipe directions. Press evenly into 11 in. x 15 in. pan, 1 in. high. Let cool. Release from pan onto waxed paper-covered cookie sheet.

2) Cut shapes

For body, use straight side of "A" cut-out to cut a circle for each treat. For ears, use straight side of "D" cut-out to cut two circles for each treat.

3) Melt candy

Melt red, black and white Candy Melts candy, separately, in disposable decorating bags according to package directions. Use scissors to cut small point off of bags when ready to decorate.

4) Make body

Place treats on cooling grid over waxed paper-covered cookie sheet. Use melted red candy to pipe line across center of body treat to use as a guideline. Use melted black candy to pipe another guideline next to the red line. Use melted red and black candy to fill in sections with zigzags. Gently tap grid to smooth and remove excess candy. Transfer treats to waxed paper-covered cookie sheet. Chill until firm, about 10 to 15 minutes.

5) Make ears

Place treats on cooling grid over waxed paper-covered cookie sheet. Use melted black candy to cover ears. Gently tap grid to smooth and remove excess candy. Transfer treats to waxed paper-covered cookie sheet. Chill until firm, about 10 to 15 minutes.

6) Decorate buttons and attach ears

Use melted white candy to pipe small ovals on each treat for buttons. Use melted black candy to attach ear treats to top of body treats. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.
