Let's put our heads together to make a can't-miss goodie for your Halloween celebration! Use your favorite peanut butter sandwich cookies dipped and decorated with Candy Melts® candy to make these goofy guys. They look yummy in a container of red jelly beans!

Scary Candy Dipped Skull Cookies



  • White Candy Melts® Candy (12 oz. makes 12 treats)
  • Favorite peanut-shaped peanut butter sandwich cookies
  • Black Candy Melts Candy (3 oz. makes 12 treats)
  • Red Candy Melts Candy (3 oz. makes 12 treats)
  • Candy Eyeballs


  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Fork
  • Waxed or parchment paper
  • Cookie sheet
  • 12 in. Disposable Decorating Bags
  • Food-safe scissors
  • Knife

1) Dip cookies

Melt white Candy Melts candy in microwave-safe bowl according to package directions. Use fork to dip cookies in melted white candy. Tap on edge of bowl to smooth and remove excess candy. Place on waxed paper-covered cookie sheet. Chill until firm, about 10 to 15 minutes.

2) Decorate cookies

Melt black and red Candy Melts candy, separately, in disposable decorating bags according to package directions. Cut small points off of disposable decorating bags when ready to decorate. Use melted black candy to attach candy eyeballs and decorate zigzag mouth. Use melted red candy to decorate zigzag wound. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.
