Doughnut Hole Snowman Pops How To

Give snowmen dapper chocolate top hats!

Enjoy all the fun of building a snowman without ever having to go out in the cold! Create these yummy snowman pops using powdered sugar doughnut holes and White Candy Melts® Candy. Your guests will feel rich as they munch on the chocolate coin brim and curl their pretend mustaches. For presentation, fill a glass bowl or vase with green jelly beans to anchor your snowmen.

Donut Hole Snowman Pops



  • White Candy Melts® Candy (1 oz. makes 24 to 30 treats)
  • Powdered sugar Doughnut holes
  • Black and Orange Sixlets® round candies
  • Mini peanut butter cups
  • Large chocolate coins (half-dollar size)


  • 12 in. Disposable Decorating Bags
  • Food-safe scissors
  • 8 in. Lollipop Sticks
  • Craft foam block
  • Knife
  • Toothpicks

1) Assemble snowmen

Melt white Candy Melts candy in disposable decorating bag according to package directions. Use food-safe scissors to cut small point off of bag. Pipe a small amount of melted candy on end of lollipop stick. Insert two doughnut holes onto lollipop stick. Insert in craft foam block. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.

2) Decorate strawberries

Use knife to cut top of top doughnut hole flat for positioning hat. Use toothpick to create small holes on one side where buttons, eyes and nose will be attached. Use melted white candy to fill in holes. Use melted candy to attach candy eyeballs, black Sixlets® for buttons and orange Sixlet for nose. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.

3) Make hat

Use melted white candy to attach bottom of mini peanut butter cup to chocolate coin. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes. Use melted candy to attach hat to top of head. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.
