How-To

Ingredients:

  • Bright White Candy Melts® Candy
  • Pretzel rods
  • Red Candy Melts® Candy

Supplies:

  • Microwave-safe container
  • Parchment Paper
  • 17 1/4 in. x 11 1/2 in. Cookie/Jelly Roll Pan
  • 12 in. Disposable Decorating Bags
  • 9 in. Angled Spatula

1) Dip Pretzels

Melt white Candy Melts candy in microwave-safe container according to package directions. Dip pretzel in melted white candy. Tap gently against side of container to smooth and remove excess candy. Place pretzels on parchment-covered cookie pan. Chill until firm, about 10 to 15 minutes.

2) Decorate Blood

Melt red Candy Melts candy in disposable decorating bag according to package directions. Cut small point off of bag. Use melted red candy to pipe dripping blood effect. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.

3) Decorate Spatters

To create look of blood splatters, hold pretzel over parchment-covered cookie pan. Dip end of spatula in melted red candy. Flick spatula over pretzel to create splatter marks. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.
