How-To

Ingredients:

  • Favorite brownie recipe or mix
  • Decorator Chocolate Icing
  • Rolled Fondant Neon Colors Multi-Pack (pink used) (4 oz. makes 16 treats)

Supplies:

  • 12 in. x 2 in. Round Pan
  • Cooling grid
  • Round Double Cut-Outs Set (A and D size cut-outs used)
  • 9 in. Angled Spatula
  • 9 in. Fondant Roller
  • Heart Double Cut-Outs Set (D size cut-out used)

1) Make brownies

Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool brownies and unmold from pan. Use straight edge of "A" size round cut-out to cut one head for each treat. Use straight edge of "D" size round cut-out to cut two ears for each treat.

2) Ice brownies

Use spatula and chocolate buttercream icing to ice brownies smooth.

3) Make bows

Use fondant roller with purple guide rings to roll out pink fondant 1/8 in. thick. Use straight edge of "D" size heart cut-out to cut two heart loops for each treat. For knot, roll a ball of pink fondant 1/4 in. diameter and flatten.

4) Assemble treats

Position head and ear brownies to create Minnie Mouse shape. Position bow loops on brownie. Use icing to attach knot to top of bow. Then serve your bow-brownie treats to your Minnie fans!
