What is Party City's Retail Store Return Policy?

We gladly accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase only with unopened packages accompanied with a receipt. The provision of a valid email address at time of purchase will facilitate easy access to an electronic receipt and enhance the return process.

Note that seasonal merchandise (e.g. Christmas, Easter and Halloween Items, including costumes) may be returned up to 7 days prior to the holiday, unopened with receipt only.

What is Party City's Retail Store Halloween Return Policy?

We will gladly accept returns and exchanges for Halloween costumes, decorations and accessories by Tuesday, October 24, 2017 with your Shipping Receipt.

For your convenience, you may return your online purchase to any of our Party City store locations.

  • Returns with the Shipping Receipt: All products, including Online Only products, will be refunded the full purchase price.
  • Returns without the Shipping Receipt: We are unable to process returns without the Shipping Receipt. If you have misplaced your original Shipping Receipt, click here to request a replacement.
  • Merchandise credit is only redeemable in stores and not online.
  • Online Only products can be returned online for the full purchase price. Please note: partial party kits will not be accepted.
  • Shipping and Handling charges and Shipping and Handling taxes are non-refundable.
  • Only exchanges will be accepted after October 24, 2017 with Shipping Receipt. Sorry, no returns will be accepted after this date.

What is PartyCity.com's return policy?

We will gladly accept returns within 30 days from the date you received your purchase. All returned items must include the Shipping Receipt. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only. Original and return shipping charges are not refundable. All returns will be credited to the original form of payment.   4. Follow these key steps when sending your return:
    • All return items must be in its original retail packaging with your original invoice and return form.
    • Tableware (plates, cups, cutlery, napkins and all catering items) can only be returned if they are still in their original packages and have not been opened.
    • All merchandise must be unworn, in original packages, and in new condition.
    • Pack and tape your package securely.
    • All returns must be sent so that your package may be tracked and receipt confirmed by your shipper of choice.
    • Returns will be credited to the original form of payment on your order.
