Step 1

Sketch out a large mouth opening on the pumpkin with a pencil. Once you've solidified the mouth design you want, go over the pencil with a black permanent marker. Outline a circle around the top of the pumpkin stem. This will be your opening to fill the candy.

Step 2

With the carving tool, cut along the outline of the pumpkin lid. Remove pumpkin seeds and scoop out insides of pumpkin using the provided scoop. Towel dry the inside and leave your pumpkin in a cool, well-ventilated area until fully dry.

Use the carving tool to punch through one of the corners. Carefully trace the outline you drew to carve out the mouth. Line the bottom of the pumpkin with plastic wrap to keep candy wrappers dry.
