Comments about Adult Sub-Zero Costume Deluxe - Mortal Kombat:

Very poor quality. The elastic straps on the 'guard ' pieces came off while putting the costume on. The rubber the mask is made out of stinks terribly, and the jumpsuit was too short for what the sizing chart said.

Don't waste your time or money on this junk.

Just as pictured. But if your bigger than the guy in picture, costume will be tight. And we had to make a little hole to use the bathroom through. But it was a big hit !!! Enjoyed it !!

Comments about Adult Sub-Zero Costume Deluxe - Mortal Kombat:

I had to go to at dollar store and get a boys black ninja hood from the dollar store and cut off the red bandana off of it to use to cover my husband's ears and the back of his head, otherwise the back of your head shows, your ears stick out and it just looks weird. The gauntlets and armbands do not fit well unless you are a bodybuilder (and by no means is he tiny or huge. He's of average build & height) and we had to tie them (the foam shin/leg guards fit okay). The length and fit of the bodysuit was good, but WHY on earth would Rubies make this costume for a MAN without having a little slit/opening possibly with Velcro in the inseam/groin area?! It's not convenient for a guy to use the restroom when he's at a party or social setting to remove the costume down to his knees every time he is using the restroom and then have to put the whole suit back on again without trying to rip, damage or snag it. If Rubies made a few MINOR adjustments/improvements this costume could be a whole lot better. This costume is a one night only & not made to last and I wouldn't recommend it for an event where you are going to be there for awhile like Comicon or Cosplay, cause it won't hold up. We did, however get a lot of compliments on our costumes as I went as Sonya Blade (using leg Avenue's Pretty Paratrooper) to match as a Mortal Kombat couple.

I recently went out and purchased this costume it is a very good costume...from the front...it is very detailed in the front but in the back it's just kinda boring. I am a mortal kombat fan boy so i went out and purchased it IN store (which i would recommend for packaging issues) Besides that my only problem is with the mask! it only covers the FRONT of your face so your ears stick out. but if you're like me and don't mind modifying it this is a great buy.

The mask will disappoint you

Comments about Adult Sub-Zero Costume Deluxe - Mortal Kombat:

-The jumpsuit is an itchy material but it is light so you can wear something underneath and not get too hot. It is a cheap material so its hard to get any wrinkles out with an iron because you may burn the material. It is tall and big. I'm 6'1" and it fits me very well. Length-wise, it's perfect for me. Wearing the belt and shin guards, you can't tell it's too baggy. It helps that its sleeveless. I like the jump suit.

-The armor is made of foam. I was disappointed at first but it's really a good thing. Plastic would scratch you up, this foam looks good and is soft against your skin. Plus it'll bend at your joints where as plastic wouldn't. Trust me, be glad its foam! It does get hot after a while though. The attachment velcro bands are junk. They break off really easy so you'll have to glue/stitch them on yourself. They are too big as well, they would fit a body builder maybe. I had to tie them on because of how big they were. I recommend removing them and putting your own on or just using them as tie straps. Nothing major, just little fixes.

-The headpiece is what I was most excited to get and most disappointed in. It is a face mask (half mask) so it doesn't cover your whole head like the picture. Sub Zero's ears aren't supposed to be sticking out. It is a heavy rubber/plastic that is folded in half when it arrives so as you see in the picture, you get a cone head. In my pic, I've already done a few modifications to the mask. I cut air holes in it and put rigid plastic at the mouth piece to keep it from folding in half. It will get VERY hot if you don't add the breathing holes. The sides will flop around so you'll prob have to add an extra string around back to hold them in place. I am making my own full head piece (think of a knights headpiece) and attaching the blue mask to that and removing the top helmet part. If the mask were better, I would say the whole costume is great but I almost guarantee that you will be disappointed with the mask.

So is it a bad costume? Not at all, you just have to be willing to put a little work into it to make it fit you properly. If you want a costume to open up and just wear right away, I don't think you'll be happy with this.
