A tasty adventure!
So much innovation can make anyone hungry. Be ready for it with food ideas that Phineas and Ferb would approve. Once the kids test them out, they'll be back out there building rockets and roller coasters in no time!
You can also whip up a Phineas and Ferb cake like the one pictured, which we decorated with tinted fondant. You'll want to roll out the fondant and cut it into pieces to make the designs. You can freehand if you feel comfortable or print out images of the characters and cut the fondant with a paring or X-Acto knife to the shapes. Use clear vanilla extract to attach the fondant pieces to the base.
Invite Phineas and Ferb for a bite
Kids will get a kick out of these finger foods shaped like their favorite inventor brothers, especially when they're accompanied by
Phineas and Ferb tableware.
Start with slices of cheese cut into the shapes of the two characters' heads and top with hairdos made from any fruit or vegetable. We used apple and cucumber but you can get creative and use whatever you have on hand to make simple hair, eyes and mouths. Serve with cheese cut with star cookie cutters for an innovative display!
Get the kids hungry for a healthy food adventure
Partygoers will be ready to foil Doof's evil plots after refueling with these healthy snacks. Use whole wheat bread to make your little birthday star's sandwich of choice and cut them into the shapes of Phineas and Ferb's heads. Cheese circles, raisins and blueberries make the eyes, while carrot pieces form Phineas's hair! Garnish with fresh fruits and veggies and serve with our
Phineas and Ferb plates and napkins.
