To make this Captain America cake we rolled out red, white and blue fondant and cut out stars and stripes and the Captain's signature "A." You can freehand the design if you feel comfortable, or print out the images and cut the fondant with a paring or X-Acto knife to its shape. Use clear vanilla extract to attach the fondant cutouts to the blue fondant.
