Friendly Candy Dipped Pumpkin Pretzel & Cookies
Ingredients:
  • Orange Candy Melts® Candy (12 oz. makes 20 to 24 treats)
  • Favorite sandwich cookies
  • Favorite pretzel twists
  • Black Candy Melts Candy (6 oz. makes 20 to 24 treats)
  • Green jelly beans
  • Candy Eyeballs
Supplies:
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Fork
  • Waxed or parchment paper
  • Cookie sheet
  • 12 in. Disposable Decorating Bags
  • Food-safe scissors
Follow Instructions
1) Dip cookies and pretzels
Melt orange Candy Melts candy in microwave-safe bowl according to package directions. Use fork to dip cookies or pretzels in melted orange candy. Tap to smooth and remove excess candy. Place on waxed paper-covered cookie sheet. Chill until firm, about 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer remaining orange candy to disposable decorating bag. Use scissors to cut tip off bag when ready to decorate.
2) Fill in pretzel openings with candy
Melt black Candy Melts candy in disposable decorating bag according to package directions. Cut small point off of bag. Use melted black candy to fill in pretzel openings. Chill until firm, about 10 to 15 minutes.
3) Decorate mouths on cookies
Use melted black candy to pipe mouths in various shapes on cookies. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.
4) Attach features
Use melted orange candy to attach green jelly bean for stem and candy eyeballs to pretzels and cookies. Chill until firm, about 3 to 5 minutes.
