If you need to return merchandise you purchased, we want to make it as easy as possible for you. Please follow these instructions.

Can I return an Internet purchase to one of your store locations?
For your convenience, you may return your online purchase to any of our Party City store locations.

PartyCity.com Return Policy:
We will gladly accept requests for returns within 30 days from the date you received your purchase.
All returned items must include the Shipping Receipt.
Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only.
Return shipping charges are not refundable.
All returns will be credited to the original form of payment.
All merchandise must be in new condition, unopened, unworn and in original packaging.
Non-Returnable Items include:
- Perishables (e.g., food, candy)
- Wigs
- Cosmetics / Makeup, eyelashes, facial hair, teeth, fangs, etc.
- Undergarments
- Hosiery
- Special Order Items - Including but not limited to: Mascots and Collector's Edition Costumes
- Custom and Personalized items
- Helium Tanks
- Bulk Products
- Oversized Items / Life-sized Cutouts
- Partial Party Kits - Party Kits may only be returned complete, including all components originally specified within each kit. Party Kit components cannot be returned individually.
How to Return Online with PartyCity.com:
Please read through our
return policy to ensure your item is eligible for a return.
- All return products require a RAN (Return Authorization Number).
- A RAN must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
- To request a RAN simply email info@partycity.com requesting a Return Authorization Number.
- Please include your name, phone number, ship id, item(s) you are returning and the reason for return in your request for a RAN.
- A return must be received in our Warehouse within 14 days of receiving your RAN.
- Include your packing slip with your return and write your Return Authorization Number on the OUTSIDE of the package. Example: RA:123456
- Your return must be sent via a traceable shipping method. If you do not send your return via a traceable shipping method and we do not receive the item, we will not be able to process your return.
How to Return at a Party City Retail Store Location:
We will gladly accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase with Shipping Receipt or Store Receipt.
For your convenience, you may return your online purchase to any of our Party City store locations.

- Returns with the Shipping Receipt: All products, including Online Only products, will be refunded the full purchase price.
- Returns without the Shipping Receipt: We are unable to process returns without the Shipping Receipt. If you have misplaced your original Shipping Receipt please email us at info@partycity.com to request a replacement.
- Merchandise credit is only redeemable in stores and not online.
- Online Only products can be returned online for the full purchase price. Please note: Online Only kits cannot be returned to a Party City store location.
- Shipping and Handling charges and Shipping and Handling taxes are non-refundable.
- Products must be unopened and in new condition.
- Returns on seasonal items such as Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving may be returned up to 7 days prior to the date of the holiday.
Halloween Party City Retail Store Location Return Policy:
We will gladly accept returns and exchanges for Halloween costumes, decorations and accessories by Monday, October 25 with your Shipping Receipt.
For your convenience, you may return your online purchase to any of our Party City store locations.

- Returns with the Shipping Receipt: All products, including Online Only products, will be refunded the full purchase price.

- Only exchanges will be accepted after October 25 with Shipping Receipt. Sorry, no returns will be accepted after this date.
- We reserve the right to limit or refuse any return of merchandise at any time for any reason.
- All costume merchandise must be unworn, in original packages, and in new condition
- Make up, masks and wigs are not returnable. All purchases for these items are final.
