Returns

If you need to return merchandise you purchase, we want to make it as easy as possible for you. Please follow these instructions.

Party City.com Return Policy We will gladly accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase with original Shipping Receipt. If the return is due to our error, we will pay for the return shipping. Otherwise, you must cover this cost. Refunds are for the cost of merchandise only. We do not accept COD. Unfortunately, Internet purchases cannot be returned to all of our physical store locations. Please click here first, to view those stores that can help you with your return. If an item arrives damaged, partycity.com must be notified by email within 48 hours. Send notification to info@partycity.com. and we will respond back within 24 hours. Final Sales apply to the following Custom and Personalized items: Invitations and Stationery Baby Favors, Bridal Shower Favors and Wedding Favors
Merchandise Conditions Packages must be unopened. All Costume merchandise must be unworn, in original packages, and in new condition Make up, masks and wigs are not returnable. All purchases for these items are final. Party Kits may only be returned complete, with all items originally specified within each kit. Party Kit components cannot be returned individually.
How to Return Online with PartyCity.com E-mail us for a Return Authorization Number. Include your name, phone number, order number, item(s) you are returning and reason for the return. We will e-mail you back with your Return Authorization Number the same day if we receive your request before 1:00 p.m. Central Time. You must include your original packing slip with your return. Pack and tape your package securely Your Return Authorization Number must be written on the OUTSIDE of the package. Example: RA#: 12345678

Online Only products can be returned online for the full purchase price. Please note: Online Only kits cannot be returned to a Party City store location. All other products may be returned at a store including Online Only products with an original Shipping Receipt. Shipping and Handling charges and Shipping and Handling taxes are non refundable. Packages must be unopened. Returns on seasonal items such as Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving may be returned up to 7 days prior to the holiday.
Halloween Party City Retail Store Return Policy We will gladly accept returns and exchanges on Halloween costumes, decorations and accessories by Monday, October 26 with your original Shipping Receipt. Returns with the original Shipping Receipt: All products, including Online Only products, will be refunded the full price. Returns without the original Shipping Receipt: Products carried in the store will be refunded the full price. Online Only products will be returned at 50% off the purchase price. Online Only products can be returned online for the full purchase price. Please note: Online Only kits cannot be returned to a Party City store location. All other products may be returned at a store including Online Only products with an original Shipping Receipt. Shipping and Handling charges and Shipping and Handling taxes are non refundable. Only exchanges will be accepted after October 26 with original Shipping Receipt. Sorry, no returns. We reserve the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise at any time for any reason.
